1.1 Helpseeker.net is a website that focus on mental health.

1.2 The website helpseeker.net is owned by Hjelp til Hjelp AS (HTH). HTH is a non-profit company with a non-profit and non-profit purpose to make it easier to find psychological help, courses, activities, and the like. 

1.3 On helpseeker.net we provide information about mental health and related topics, such as news items, videos, books, and more. This also includes guest posts from people who have no formal connection with HTH.

 

2. APPROVAL OF TERMS

2.1 By using helpseeker.net and the resources we offer, you also accept the terms of use of the service (below and above). 

2.2 The terms are updated and revised regularly and everyone who uses helpseeker.net is responsible for keeping up to date on current terms.

 

3.GEOGRAPHY

3.1 While HTH's services are primarily aimed at the Norwegian market, the website helpseeker.net is open for readers that understand the English language. 

 

4. RESPONSIBILITY

4.1 All content you find via helpseeker.net is for information only and does not replace personal contact between patient and healthcare professional. HTH assumes no responsibility for damages of any kind related to the use of content, services, or links on the website. Information on our site should be regarded as for entertainment only.

4.2 HTH does not take responsibility for any negative consequences of information on helpseeker.net proving to be incomplete or misleading. 

4.3 HTH does not take responsibility for links to external content.

4.4 The information contained in HTH's services shall under no circumstances be understood as medical advice, but as general information with an entertainment purpose. HTH does not take responsibility for consequences for people who use information from our sites. HTH should not be hold responsible for any consequences as a result of the use of information on the site, as long as HTH has not violated Norwegian laws through the information provided. 

 

5.CHANGES IN THE SERVICE

5.1 HTH reserves the right to make changes and improvements in the service. Users of the services are responsible for keeping up to date on our terms.

 

6. PRIVACY

6.1 HTH strives to comply with and comply with the GDPR regulations (EU Directive 2016/679, which enters into force on 25 May 2018). We do not store personal information beyond purposes for which the user has explicitly consented to this. More specifically, we store the email address of people who have signed up for HTH's newsletter, which is used to send out news about mental health and related topics, in line with the information available in connection with signing up for the newsletter.

6.2 HTH does not collect information about users of the website, but uses various services that provide a better user experience (see section 7.2).

6.3 All information about registered e-mail addresses is treated confidentially and is only available to Hjelptilhjelp.no's editorial staff. Information about registered mailadresses is not passed on to third parties.

6.4 Users can at any time unsubscribe from newsletters, and will then be permanently deleted from the newsletter list.

 

7. INFORMATION COOKIES

7.1 Helpseeker.net uses cookies. These are small information files that are left on your computer for our service to work best for you as a user. Like most websites, we use cookies to give you a better, faster or safer experience.

The Electronic Communications Act, which entered into force on 1 July 2013, contains a provision on the conditions associated with the storage of information in communication equipment - also called the "cookie clause" (cf. Electronic Communications Act § 2-7b). The storage of information and the processing of this information is not permitted unless the user has been informed of, and has consented to, what information is processed, what the purpose of this processing is and who processes the information. MISCELLANEOUS

8.1 Any disputes that arise in connection with HTH's services shall be dealt with in accordance with Norwegian law. Bergen District Court is adopted as venue for the agreement.
